When Mazars relocated to the ONE Building in Ghent, the ambition was clear: to anchor their growth in a workplace that was as forward-looking as the firm itself. Developed by Banimmo and certified BREEAM Excellent, the building provided the sustainable, high-quality framework. SMILE’s task was to shape it into a tailored environment reflecting Mazars’ international expertise and Belgian roots.
Clarity, Light and Elegance
The design language was deliberately pure. Expansive windows flood the offices with natural light, while warm wood details and deep Mazars-blue accents create a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. Meeting rooms were given sculptural lighting to set the tone for strategic discussions, corridors were designed as connectors rather than transitions, and the reception became a curved, elegant focal point. Every detail sought balance: openness without noise, identity without ostentation.

Forvis Mazars' dynamic new space
This first Ghent workplace was more than a fit-out: it became a benchmark for Mazars in Belgium.
Delivered with precision and vision, it marked the beginning of a collaboration with SMILE built on trust.
