Cultivating community & expertise

Did you know ?

Located on the fourth floor of Baloise's prestigious Phoenix building, the ITAA (Institute of Tax Advisers and Accountants) and the IBR/IRE (Institute of Company Auditors) are embarking on an important new chapter.

This large-scale project optimises space and creates a dynamic and inspiring working environment designed to promote exchanges, synergies and innovation between these two leading institutions.

A vibrant village of collaboration and calm

The SMILE design combines natural elements, modular spaces and organic lines to create a welcoming environment conducive to collaboration, learning and concentration.

Concept

Blending focus & flow

The elegant reception hall, with its soft curves and wood accents, embodies this human-centred approach: a space that is both serene and inspiring. Ideal for training courses and examinations.

Our concept for the ITAA and IBR has given rise to a true 'meeting centre', where examinations can be held, and a 'village': vibrant spaces where work and conviviality come together. The curved lines, nature-inspired colour palette and flexible furniture create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages collaboration and interaction.

The result is a versatile environment designed to promote teamwork, training, learning and social interaction.

Customer review

”Bringing the ITAA and IBR together in one location presented the challenge of transforming distinct professional worlds into a cohesive working environment. SMILE Design & Build exceeded all our expectations in achieving this goal. Their talent for combining practical engineering with creative design has transformed our premises into an efficient and aesthetically remarkable workspace, appreciated by all members involved. We highly recommend SMILE to organisations seeking practical and innovative spaces that reflect their values.”
